Tons of fun at tourism festival

Also during the festival, construction began on Legoland Discovery Center Shanghai at Changfeng Parkside Plaza. The indoor family attraction — operated by British leisure group Merlin Entertainments — will open to public next spring. Targeting children from 3 to 10 years of age, the center will feature models, attractions and interactive fun inspired by the Lego building toys.
Other hot tourist spots during the festival and the National Day holiday included Changfeng Ocean World, Zhonghuan business district and Red Star Macalline, a major furniture franchise mall. These locations hosted diverse events, ranging from lucky draws and karaoke contests to talent shows.
