Google opens AdWords experience center in Putuo
GOOGLE opened its AdWords Shanghai Experience Center recently in Tiandi Software Park in Changzheng Town, Putuo District.
Google AdWords provides online advertising service for companies to show brief ads in its search engine with a 70 percent of global market share, its video sharing site Youtube and its Android system used by nearly 85 percent of smartphones worldwide.
The AdWords system has more than 100 language interfaces and covers over 200 countries, enabling Chinese companies to build brands and develop markets abroad.

Google AdWords will initially hire 100 people to work at the center and increase the number to 200 to provide services for about 5,000 Shanghai cross-border trading companies.
It will select 20 big companies as key clients and generate about 2 billion yuan (US$298.51 million) in annual sales.
Google said it will make the Shanghai experience center its flagship store in China.
Putuo has promoted the development of e-commerce for years. The Google AdWords experience center will be a boost to the e-commerce, online marketing and related sectors in the district.
It is also believed to benefit small and medium-sized enterprises and contribute to the country’s Belt and Road Initiative.
