Eased business registration
The Market Supervision and Management Bureau of Putuo District recently announced 11 policies to support the construction of a science-based and innovation-driven transition practice area.
Officials said they borrowed successful measures from the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and adapted them to meet the actual conditions in the district.
The 11 policies are aimed primarily at simplifying procedures related to business registration and equity establishment.
Xu Weigen, director of Shanghai Jinshajiang Removal Logistics Co Ltd, said these measures have made it easier to register and open new branches.
“Our company was among the first batch of enterprises to benefit from the new policies,” Xu said. “The policies have made the procedures much more convenient and easy.”
The bureau also offered orientation services to the district’s major business areas, including Changfeng Eco-Business Park, Taopu Technology Smart City, Zhenru Subcenter and Changshou Business Center.
WeChat groups have been set up to quickly solve and coordinate work issues. Reservation services are also open to important business projects and large enterprises.
