The Yuantong Temple, which had to be demolished to make way for the Hongqiao traffic hub in 2006, will be rebuilt in the Jiwang area of Huacao Town in two years, local officials said. The 6,666-square-meter temple will be built in the style of the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). A hologram statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva will be projected on the first and 15th days of every lunar month.
