A NEW two-year subsidy for purchases of green vehicles will come into effect later this month. Taxi and car rental companies will receive subsidies of 40,000 yuan (US$5,059) to 70,000 yuan per vehicle purchase. A total of 200 vehicles will be subsided. In addition, Minhang-registered companies will also receive subsidies for installing charging poles in the district.
