THE popular Pengpu night market on Linfen Road will be renovated to provide quality shopping and leisure activities.
The site was a night market since 2004, turning into a food street in 2011. The area was so popular with locals and tourists that officials found it difficult to crack down on unlicensed street vendors.
Since then, the vendors have been relocated two kilometers away and the area has been cleaned up. Under the renovation, greenery will be added.
