Technology company gets smart with glasses
Shanghai Ledai Information Technology Co Ltd, a Jiading-based enterprise, will start mass production of smart glasses this year to help mechanics easily locate engine faults among numerous electric building bricks.
With a professional team of more than 10 years’ experience and partnerships with a number of component and parts suppliers such as Jorjin Technologies, Ledai becomes China’s first supplier of smart glasses solutions that can offer mass production.
Based on customer needs, Ledai is able to create prototypes in three months and realize mass production in just six months.
In cooperation with several hospitals in Shanghai, Ledai will also launch a pair of smart glasses this year to enable doctors to access patients’ health data through voice control.
It allows doctors to provide real-time monitoring and guidance to remote surgeries.
Another new smart glasses project this year will allow supermarket staff to identify goods and shelf labels through voice control and upload replenishment information with a cloud-based system.
“Smart glasses enable wearers to liberate their hands, improving efficiency and cost savings,” said Yu Hai, Ledai’s chief executive officer.
