Revenue rises
Jiading District’s fiscal revenue rose 10.1 percent year on year to 51.4 billion yuan (US$8.28 billion) in the first half of 2015. The district saw its fiscal revenue expand 11.4 percent to 11.59 billion yuan from the previous year, completing 61.7 percent of its target set at the beginning of the year. The tax revenue from January to June increased to 11.26 billion, up 11.4 percent year on year while the non-tax income reached 334.72 million yuan, a year-on-year rise of 11.9 percent. Citywide in Shanghai, Jiading’s local fiscal income was next to Pudong New Area and Minhang District in total volume but ranked ninth in growth rate. The rise in revenue benefited from steady growth and improved industrial structures.
