P3 Space to be a training base for WorldSkills 2017
SHANGHAI Art & Design Academy has joined with Hong Kong-based Pico Group to apply for a training base of 2017 WorldSkills Competition at P3 Space in Anting Town.
“The designers in P3 Space help me do the design works and here I have the experience of real working environment,” Song Jianye, a sophomore of Shanghai Art & Design Academy, said.
Song is one of the regular visitors to P3 Space. Song and his schoolmates can look at exhibitions and listen to lectures there. In addition, they join in the design and making of projects organized by the incubator.
Song designed Intelligent Tianshui, a design plan on operating a city center, which was highly regarded and entered a cultural and innovative work exhibition.
It’s a modern apprentice base, Professor Xu Kan from Shanghai Art & Design Academy said.
In the P3 Space, there are 140 seats for rent. So far 10 enterprises have entered the P3 Space, including exhibition decoration platform E3. On E3, SMEs can choose projects with different levels of cost accordingly.
“E3 platform is a brand new business model for us, and it emphasizes differentiated competition,” Lin Sihan, the founder of P3 Space, said.
“P3 Space helped me complete the functions of a company as I only have to do well in my area,” Elena said.
She opened a studio in the P3 to do social media promotion and brand planning.
