From picking potatoes to hot Ferraris ...
EARLY summer, with its gentle breezes, is a most pleasant time to travel around Jiading.
The 800-year-old town has not lack of wonderful places to visit, particularly at the moment when the air is filled with the heavenly scent of all sorts of flowers and a number of fascinating activities or exhibitions are being held.
Guyi Garden in Nanxiang Town has extended its opening hours from this month to the end of October.
The Grape Theme Park in Malu Town provides children with easy access to farm work and feeding animals. They can dig for potatoes, identify the vegetables growing in greenhouses or feed the rabbits and goats. Vegetable picking is very popular and will run through to the end of next month.
Away from nature, an exhibition celebrating Ferrari’s 70th anniversary is a must for auto fans.
The exhibition reveals the culture and value of the racing legend in auto design, technology and sports.
A number of cars — classics and limited editions — are on display at Shanghai Auto Museum, including the 12-cylinder mid-engine Ferrari Testarossa and the first mass-produced Ferrari.
