Traffic controls

HANGZHOU will impose an odd-even traffic ban from August 28 to September 6 to ensure smooth traffic during the G20 summit. Private cars can only drive on alternating days based on the last digit of their plate numbers. The G20 Leaders Summit will take place on September 4 and 5 at the Hangzhou Olympic and International Expo Center in Binjiang District.

This year’s summit will focus on innovation in economic activities and joint efforts to build an interconnected and inclusive world economy.

Hangzhou is the capital of east China’s Zhejiang Province and Zhejiang is famous for a vibrant private sector and ranked 4th among China’s 31 municipalities, provinces and autonomous regions in GDP in 2014.
