More holiday flights

XIAOSHAN International Airport will add 1,250 flights during the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush between January 13 and February 21, includ­ing 372 international flights.

Harbin, capital of northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, and Mian­yang, a city in southwest China’s Sichuan Province, will each have over 100 additional flights from Hangzhou.

Destinations like Yichang, Shenyang, Xi’an, Urumuqi and Changchun will have about 80 additional flights each while cities like Zhengzhou, Lanzhou, Haikou, Hohhot and Bo’ao will have about 50 additional flights each, airport officials said.

Overseas destinations such as Bali and Manado in Indonesia, Phuket in Thailand, Sapporo in Japan, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Da Nang in Vietnam, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap in Cambodia, as well as Singapore and Saipan will also have additional flights during the holiday.

Of the 13 overseas destinations, Sapporo, Phu Quoc, Manado, Fiji and Tahiti will be new destinations for flights from Hangzhou.
