Shanghai Yuyuan garden to have new resort open in Japan

SHANGHAI Yuyuan Tourist Mart Co Ltd has signed a cooperation agreement with Club Med in Shanghai, and Club Med will open a new resort in Hokkaido Tomamu resort owned by Yuyuan in Japan in 2017 ski season.

The Yuyuan Co acquired the Tomamu ski resort in November last year.

The resort has a golf course, a skiing park and an indoor swimming pool.

The new holiday resort operated by Club Med will feature 20-plus ski lanes of different difficulties and more than 150-hectare of ski slopes catering to all ski lovers. Ski courses and a variety of delicacies will be offered.

In summer, vast lavender fields will create a beautiful landscape in the resort. It is Club Med's second holiday resort in Hokkaido.
