OPPO feels young

OPPO will focus on young consumers as well as the middle-and-high end segment to grow in the smartphone market, China’s No. 2 smartphone vendor said yesterday in Shanghai.

More than 90 percent of OPPO’s over 200 million users globally are young people under the age of 30.

In order to tap young consumers, OPPO integrates entertainment, sport and fashion elements together with technology improvements on design, photography and battery, said Wu Qiang, the company’s vice president.
