Sinking feeling
SHANGHAI shares tumbled the most in two months yesterday, posting its third consecutive weekly loss.
The Shanghai Composite Index shed 2.82 percent to end at 2,913.25 points. The barometer fell 0.85 percent for the week.
Investors were getting impatient at the Shanghai gauge’s failure to stay above the key 3,000-point mark in recent weeks, while fears were spreading that more companies needed to sell shares to raise funds to pay off debts amid a fragile economy, according to analysts.
