China will study the recently-signed Trans-Pacific Partnership in detail as it is an extensive agreement which excludes the world’s second-biggest economy, but some experts believe the TPP won’t have much of an impact on China.
“We have noticed the signing of the TPP and is weighing up this regional trade deal,” the Ministry of Commerce said in a statement yesterday. “The TPP is an extensive agreement ... China is studying it and the evaluation work is underway.”
