MNC best innovative practice exhibition kicks off in Shanghai

AN exhibition to showcase the best innovative practice by multinational companies kicked off today at the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center.
The exhibition, based on an earlier competition hosted by Jiefang Daily, Eastday.com and Shanghai Daily, runs through November 13 and is open to the public.
Altogether 43 cases presented at the exhibition were selected during the competition, and are expected to facilitate Shanghai’s ambition to become an innovation center in science and technology with global influence.
The exhibition also included introduction of the master plan for Shanghai during the 13th Five-Year (2016-2020) Plan period, and its blueprint for 2040 when Shanghai grows into an “excellent global city.”
At the gate of the exhibition, there is also an area elaborating the histories of the International Business Leaders’ Advisory Council, a mechanism for the leaders of the world’s best companies to meet mayors of Shanghai and offer their advice to make the city a better place to live and work.
Initiated in 1989, the IBLAC meeting will take place at the beginning of next month.
