One-stop services

ALIBABA yesterday said it hopes to profit from its popular corporate e-mail feature to offer information technology services to corporations, which has been gaining pace in China in the past few years.

“We hope to build one-stop office services for corporate e-mail users,” said Zhang Ziwei, head of the AliMail unit.

He added it will unveil more features like online reviewing of reimbursement, project management, travel expense management, and overtime and leave application. It hopes to incorporate enterprise services into the e-mail system and also allow AliMail’s functions to be integrated with other current online office software such as third-party software like Microsoft Office for easier online document sharing and editing.
