Internet economy benefit extends to people
CHINA is actively advancing the development of the Internet and extending its benefit to the 1.3 billion Chinese people.
About 1,000 Internet tycoons and officials from over 100 countries and regions attended the first World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, a historic town in east China’s Zhejiang province, from Wednesday to Friday.
Online business and all the other issues regarding internet economy were heated topics.
Just days ago, Alibaba Group, China's e-commerce titan and the second largest Internet company in the world, surprised the world with its daily sales hitting 57.1 billion yuan (9.28 billion U.S. dollars) on Nov. 11.
Aside from this surprise, great benefit was shared by numerous people, as better cooperation was promoted between the public and private sectors, traditional and new industries, business and customers.
Supported by the “Broadband China” strategy issued by the State Council, telecommunication operators would further serve consumers with convenient information and Internet service, like 4G network, guaranteed through advanced technology shared with global partners.
The China government is quickly stepping up building Internet infrastructure and drawing private entrepreneurs to invest in this industry.
As the new driving force for economy, Internet industry is also tapping the value-added links and biz opportunities of traditional industries, unfolding new economic patterns and releasing new demands for consumers.
Internet industry is being interwoven with traditional industries like retail and entertainment, and even finance and transportation.
In this way, quality products and hospitable services would also be provided to consumers by e-commerce enterprises, interconnected through Mobile Internet and Internet of Things with retailing giants.
Therefore, diversified consumption demands would be satisfied for the consumers sake.
Indeed, despite the problems like uneven distribution of critical Internet resources and new risks arising from novel technologies, it is confident that benefit of Internet economy could extend more to people at home and abroad.
