Shui On Land teams up with Fudan University to back entrepreneurship

Shui On Land Ltd will continue to encourage Chinese youngsters to pursue entrepreneurship via a joint educational program with Fudan University. The scheme also aims to nurture a global view among young students.
Vincent H. S. Lo, chairman of Shui On Land, is currently a member of the International Advisory Board at the School of Management of Fudan University, which was established last October to seek ideas and resources for better development.
Lo said given the board comprises the most eligible leaders and scholars in the world, the richness and diversity they possess will lead to better directions concerning future development.
Shui On Land has worked with Fudan University to provide education on innovative entrepreneurship. Lo said young people’s entrepreneurship is crucial to creating employment.
Lo said the young people ought to know well about themselves before venturing into entrepreneurship. Consistency and patience are also important for success, he added.
Speaking of the resources most needed for young people, Lo said having a global view and abundant knowledge of the world’s latest trend is the key.
