The stamp pictures the Shanghai Expo emblem and China Pavilion. The stamp's price is 1.20 yuan (17 US cents). The Shanghai Philatelic Corporation also issued a First-Day Cover in the city for the 500-day Expo countdown. The China Banknote Printing and Minting under the country's central bank will issue the country's first Expo 2010 gold bar tomorrow, Eastday.com reported today. The gold bar will be available in four sizes – 50, 100, 500 or 1,000 grams. Both the stamps and gold bars will be available around the country. China Post issued the first Shanghai Expo stamp on September 19, 2007, marking the debut of mascot Haibao, which means "treasure of the seas."
