Brewer raises funds

BEIJING Yanjing Brewery Co, China's third-biggest brewer, raised 1.12 billion yuan (US$164 million) in a private share sale, the company said in a statement to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange over the weekend.
The company sold 110 million new shares at 10.20 yuan apiece, a 21-percent discount to the stock's closing price last Friday. The funds will finance output expansion.
