Today's high temperature will reach 14 degrees Celsius with a low of 4 degrees while tomorrow will be even milder with a peak of 17 degrees, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said today. A weak cold front is expected to reach the city Wednesday, but it will remain clear and dry. The low on Thursday is expected to drop to 1 degree. The low-temperature alert was dropped yesterday morning as the temperature in Xujiahui, Xuhui District, climbed to 10.3 degrees, which was 5.1 degrees higher than on Saturday. Weathermen reminded residents to dress warmly when going outdoors. Meanwhile, the China Meteorological Administration said southern China would enjoy clear skies and mild weather for the next few days.
