Hong Kong Braced For Stormy Weather

TROPICAL Storm Kammuri may strengthen before it passes south of Hong Kong this morning, according to the city's observatory.
The eye of the storm was 220 kilometers south to southeast of Hong Kong at 7pm yesterday, the Hong Kong Observatory said.
Winds of up to 41 to 62 kilometers an hour are expected in the city, which is hosting Olympic equestrian events from Saturday. Gusts may exceed 110kph, Bloomberg News said.
Hong Kong has plans in place should a storm hit during the events, said Chief Secretary Henry Tang.
