The railway, a west to east line linking Jining with Tongniao in the region, reopened to traffic at 10am. It was suspended after the Shalihe Railway Bridge was seriously damaged by floods on June 28, a railway official said. One bridge pier subsided and inclined 30 centimeters toward east. After days of reinforcement, the pier resumed operation. Xinhua Copyright © 2001-2009 Shanghai Daily Publishing House |
