Lawsuits rejected

THE Pudong New Area People's Court has rejected 19 lawsuits in which consumers asked a Kodak camera producer to provide refunds due to quality problems.
The consumers said the Kodak LS443 digital cameras produced by Shanghai Dahai Camera Co Ltd, a joint-venture of Kodak, often failed to work.
The court ruled most of the plaintiffs didn't have the cameras repaired and no evidence was provided to prove the cameras couldn't be repaired.
