ABOUT 10 percent of bean products tested by authorities were found to contain bacteria or additives above the regulated amount. The quality officials inspected 92 different types of non-fermented bean products.

Those who failed included Wayu bean vermicelli (sour and spicy beef flavor) and Ruilan instant tofu.
