ACTRESS Wang Ji wants a formal apology from Air China after her mentally disabled son was kicked off a flight for being considered ``an insecure factor,'' the Shanghai Morning Post reported today.

According to a statement the airlines issued yesterday, the boy was unable to sit still when he and his grandmother boarded the Beijing bound plane in Los Angeles, California, the report said.

Neither his granny nor the crew could calm the boy down, thus the plane's captain ordered that both should be removed from the aircraft for safety reasons, the report said.

The explanation was provided after Wang complained to Air China. However, the actress was unsatisfied with the statement and reserved the right to bring a lawsuit, the report said.

``They are not sincere," Wang, 46, told the newspaper. "And they want my son to sustain responsibility for the delay of the flight.

``I spoke out to attract more social attention and raise awareness of the discrimination disadvantaged groups face.'' she added.

Wang told Sina.com that her son ran towards the exit to look outside and that it should have been closed. She also complained that her son and his grandmother were kicked off the plane while other passengers were still boarding, the report said.

She also revealed that one China Air employee tried to comfort the sobbing grandmother, who was told they were lucky to get off the plane as it would be delayed due to some mechanical problems, the report said.

Wang gained fame after starring in ``A Native of Beijing in New York.''
