MUNICH, Germany, April 10 (Xinhua) -- A fire burned down a plastics factory in the southern German city of Meitingen early Thursday, a local police source has been quoted as saying.
The fire broke out at around 1:30 a.m. (0030 GMT), local media Augsburger Allgemeine cited the source as saying.
Police said more than 200 firefighters were still fighting the blaze, and part of the factory had already been destroyed. They estimated it would take several hours to completely extinguish the fire.
No casualties were reported so far and the cause was not clear yet.
