RIO DE JANEIRO, May 8 (Xinhua) -- A helicopter from Brazil's Military Police crashed Tuesday about 30 kilometers from Piranhas city, killing eight aboard, including an alleged murderer who killed seven people two weeks ago in central state of Goias, police said.
The crash happened on Tuesday afternoon, when the helicopter flew back from Doverlandia, the crime scene, to Goaiania, the capital city of Goias.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. Local sources said that the helicopter exploded in the air.
