STOCKHOLM, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Hundreds of "Occupy Wall Street" supporters Saturday gathered in central Stockholm to express their discontent with economic injustice.

The Swedish demonstration organizers said that their purpose is to have real democracy and protest against economic injustice, corruption and greediness.

"This is a very good initiative. People can become aware about the situation in the world. We live in a paradise here in Sweden, thus we must think of others too," said Michael Hassinen Land who participated in the demonstration.

In addition to Stockholm, the demonstration activities also took place in Malmo, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Ostersund, Norrkoping, Sundsvall and Uppsala.

The activists said they want the world leaders to take responsibility for the financial crisis.

In Malmo, "Occupy together " organizers said that they are not interested in whether politicians should listen to them, but just want out to get together and tried to get stronger themselves.

"We are not a normal demonstrations that will disappear," said the demonstrators in Malmo, according to South Sweden newspaper report.
